Don Campbell

Don Campbell is a Portland, Oregon, freelance writer and editor whose work has been featured in Northwest Airlines World Traveler, The Oregonian, People magazine, American Airlines' American Way magazine, Coastal Living magazine, The Portland Business Journal, Today's Health Care, Oregon Business Magazine, Fortune 500 companies, and others. His involvement in competitive athletics, music and studies in Eastern religions led him to the understanding that breathing plays a critical role in health, wellness, performance, and general well-being. He learned that he could impact the way he dealt with stress, pain, discomfort, and his performance by studying how to control his breath. He has been routinely practicing various methods of conscious breathing for the last 35 years.

Alfred Lee

Al Lee has spent more than 10 years researching this fascinating topic and more than 25 years practicing conscious breathing through his teaching and training in martial arts, yoga, Qi Gong, and meditation. Lee is an experienced teacher, trainer, and professional speaker who has conducted seminars nationally and internationally. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, a 4th degree black belt in Okinawan Karate, and is a professional member and board member of the National Speakers Association (Oregon chapter). As a technology executive he played an instrumental role in a number of cutting-edge companies and found the many benefits of conscious breathing to be critical to managing the stress and demands of the high-tech start-up environment.
